Animated GIF won't upload

Is there something wrong with my account as I cannot upload a GIF? I've tried uploading via phone, drag and drop, add from my computer, changing the size of the graphic, and nothing works! Been on it for days and I need help! Thanks!

Hello @GLLHoldings 

 

Are you getting any type of error message? Do you know the size of the file? When you try to upload the image into the library the square box off the left side of the screen do you get a red triangle with an exclamation point within it? If you do, you should be able to hover over it and see an error message.

Having same issue, you didn't answer because it doesn't specify. Just says "cant be uploaded"

Same issue and yes "red triangle with exclamation point" error says "sorry, we could not upload this file, try saving it in a different format and try again". This is a 1.3 MB .gif file. Please help.

Does either of the following troubleshooting steps alleviate the upload issue for that gif?

  • Open image in Photoshop > File > Export > Save for Web > Leave default settings and click Save
  • Compressing the Gif (using lossy compression is available)
  • Converting the Gif to an MP4 filetype, then converting back to a Gif
  • Putting the Gif in an image hosting site, then adding it to your email via the Image URL method
  • Making sure the Gif matches all the optimization criteria

If none of those alleviate your issues, please respond to the automated @ mention email with the Gif attached so we can investigate further.
