Automated birthdays

We tried sending two unique automated birthday emails using two unique email lists. Unfortunately the emails sent to both lists meaning both groups received both birthday cards.

 

When I contacted support, Constant Contact said that this was a known issue, but I wanted to know if anyone had encountered this problem and found a workaround? Thanks,

I do apologize that you are experiencing this defect. Though we do not have a workaround at this time, this defect is currently under review by our engineering team. I have flagged it on your account, and I will have them follow back up with any workarounds or fixes they have for this.
