Background not showing on desktop

Hello CC Community!


I am having an issue with my background color not displaying on my e-mail when viewed on a desktop.  It should be a textured blue background but only comes through as plain white background with no texture.  The correct background displays when viewing on mobile and when I open my email as a webpage on the desktop, but not when it's opened from the Outlook app.  Any tips?

So sorry to hear this is happening with the background image of your campaign! We would like to collect a few more details as I was unable to replicate the same experience:


  • What version of outlook are you using?
  • Do you have any security programs running on your computer?
  • Are you still unable to see the background if all images are downloaded when viewing the email?
  • Does whitelisting Constant Contact in your security settings help?
