We are implementing a birthday campaign using the automation feature, and have created a new lead generation landing page where our users can update their birthday.
We've had some feedback that inputting the year is difficult using the mouse. You have to click back far to find your actual birth year and I'm concerned it will prohibit users from signing up. Is there any way to only ask for the users birth day and month? On previous landing pages/sign-up forms that was an option.
I can understand how important it is to easily collect your contacts. I'm sorry to hear of the experience some of them have had with this birthday field. Is this happening in more than one browser? While being able to remove the year is not a feature that is currently available, we have seen users click on the mm/dd/yyyy field and type in their birthday. Are you able to do this in your form?
On the other hand, you are correct, our previous basic landing pages do offer a birthday field with just the month and date. The good news is you still have access to these forms. Basic landing pages can be found under the sign-up forms tab of your account. Though it is important to mention that these basic landing pages don't offer the ability to customize your thank you page.
