I'm sorry to hear your image turned out blurry when converted from a PDF. Because your PDF was so large, it did have to compress a bit to fit within the 600 pixel wide template, which made your text appear blurry. It sounds like you already have a clearer PNG of the document, so I would recommend replacing the image with your PNG.
