I'm new to the community and I'm confused on how to do something probably quite simple.
I want to have 2 buttons side by side in an email, and have the customer be able to choose 1 of them (ex. Are you male or female?) Once the selection is made, I want it to highlight that button but not take them to a link or anywhere, I just want to see their selection once they send the email.
Any help would be appreciated!!
Thank you for reaching out to the Constant Contact Community. It's my pleasure to assist you today!
That's a great question! I see that you are in a Constant Contact Free Trial. Welcome! While you are using your trial or if you start up with us on an Email Plus plan, you will have access to Action Blocks. With the Poll Action Block, you can accomplish exactly what you are looking for and the reporting on this data will be available right through the reporting section.
Please feel free to reach out should you need anything else. Thank you for choosing Constant Contact. Have a great day!
Thanks for the reply Adrienne,
Unfortunately the poll option doesn't quite accomplish what I want. I don't like how after a customer clicks 1 of the poll options, it opens up a new page that tells them their response has been sent.
Rather, I want their choice to simply be highlighted (like this example, though even if not possible to do icons like show, just highlighting the word Male of Female would be fine)
Is this possible to do with Constant Contact?
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, that is not available within Constant Contact but I am more than happy to submit your feedback on this! We also have a survey tool that I suggest looking into to see if it works better for you. Thank you and have a wonderful Sunday!
