The email of my Campaign has 3 buttons which link to different places. I want to see the 3 buttons of the same size however the adjust according with the text in them. I tried to trick using spaces and the end of the text but any time I edit the e-mail the buttons reduce their size to their name/text.
I'm using the third generation editor.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Hello @ChurchillY,
That is a great question! There are many ways that you can customize a button in the Third Generation Editor; however, you are unable to edit the size of the button manually. The buttons inserted into your template will adjust their size to the text that is placed in that button. For full customization instructions for buttons in the Third Generation Editor check out this link here. I hope this helps clear things up!

Thanks for the info. I was trying to find information on if we can change the shape of the button in the third generation editor (from rounded edge to square edge in this case). Is that possible? I didn't see the option in the editor, but perhaps I missed it.
Hi @JenniferT5! At this time, the only customization that can be done for buttons in the third-generation editor is the button background color and the text color. We are always looking for ways to making our editor better for our customers and I have submitted your feedback about having more button editing options over to our product team.
Has this feature been added since the last post?
Hello @LindaB1. At this time the only changes that can be made to the button are the color of text and background. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out.
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! The round shaped buttons are available, just within certain templates. If you start a new Email and go through the templates available, you will see the round shaped buttons within some of the previews. All the templates have different layouts. It is understandable to want to have the ability to change the shape of the buttons easily, and I will certainly submit your feedback to our developers on your behalf!
In the meantime, if you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to us here. We are always happy to assist you in any way we can!
Hi @Clairebear
Thank you for coming to the Community again with your newest feedback! I can definitely understand how helpful it would be to customize the buttons in your emails. I apologize this is not a feature that is currently available. I have however submitted this feedback request in your account.
Each template has different buttons, so it's difficult to find the one I need. This also requires starting an e-mail over, which is an issue when I simply want the same email I have now, but with slightly less button margins. There's features being added, but there's no quality of life improvements with the 3rd gen editor. The indent function has seen the same struggle as this feature, even though plenty of people want it.
I am not seeing any acknowledgment from any of the Constant Contact employees that a feature suggesiton has been filed, and I can't imagine why not. It seems like it might be fairly frequent usage that you want to offer subscribers 3 things they may be interested in (for instance), and good design practice would have each of the buttons to select the choice be the same size. Setting the size based on the amount of text may be ok for an individual button but not in a case such as I've described here. Also, I have had occasion to use lengthier text on a button, when a complex point is being made and then you want the subscriber to click to indicate their interest, but you maybe don't want the button to be 5 words wide. But without access to html code, there is no way to split that text onto two lines on the button.
Hi @JulieL34
Thank you for sharing your feedback on this feature as well! Responding to every post in some feature request threads can cause clutter. Though we may not respond, we are absolutely reading and tracking each post. With that said, we have submitted this feedback to our engineers on your behalf.
