CanSpam

Hi - I have a few questions about the CAN SPAM rules:

1. Once someone unsubscribes from your email list can you never ever again add them to an email list without their permission?

2. Constant Contact allows me to ask via email each contact individually if they would like to re-subscribe. Is there a means to ask more than one at a time?

3. Does CAN SPAM require me to delete a contact if they have not opened up a single email after a specific amount of time?

4. Are there other CAN SPAM rules in similar vanes I should be aware of?

Hello @GARY.BARBER,

For specific questions like this we do recommend reaching out to your legal team or you can email legal(at)constantcontact(dot)com. If a customer does ask to be put back on your list after unsubscribing, you can send them a one time resubscribe link asking for their permission back. Thanks!
