Any chance you tried to connect to Chat with a different browser? It's possible there is an extension or plugin interfering with the site experience. I also recommend to try opening the Chat window while in Incognito/Safe Mode and see if that resolves it. If this doesn't work please reach back out to us and we can investigate further.
