Click Reports

Question, I sent a campaign and someone clicked on all the links at the exact same time. What does that mean? Because they couldn't of read all of that.

Hi JimTreleaven!

Thanks for reaching out to the community with your question! This sounds like an email security security program/ SPAM checker is clicking all the links to make sure they are safe before delivering your email to this contacts inbox.

While this is a fairly common practice, we understand that accurate metrics are very important. With this in mind, we are tracking a request to omit or filter out opens and clicks caused by security programs, and have tracked this on your behalf. We will send you an email letting you know once we are able to implement a way to filter theses clicks out.

Hi Kara,

Does this apply to opens as well?

Yes @JimTreleaven , it would apply to opens as well. Essentially any opens that occur within the first minute may be suspect - though it may just be a matter of your contacts innocuously checking their emails quickly after receiving. That's why the click report would be the best for actively checking if contacts are running a security program like the one described, since it's much more unlikely a contact would open several links all within the same minute of receiving the email.
