According to Constant contact reports, for our Outside Sales campaigns, our average open rate is around 30%. However, when we follow up on those who opened the email or clicked a link in the email, the contacts we speak with rarely recall seeing the email. Has any one else experienced that? Starting to that that open rates are not a true representation of interest.
Hi @LoriL02
Thank you for reaching out to the Community about your email reporting! I can understand how important it is to have the correct reporting possible. With that said, are you seeing this happen with a specific email domain? We have seen cases where recorded engagement was not actually made by the contact, but their security system instead. At this time there is no way to omit or remove this engagement from reporting. It is however a feature request we are collecting feedback on and have tracked in your account in the meantime. I also would suggest having your contacts whitelist Constant Contact in their security settings.
