Create a Recurring Anniversary Email

Today is Aug 14, 2021.  If I enter an anniversary date today of 09/01/2021 will the email go out in 2021 or 2022 (one year after original date)?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! Your email will send on 09/01/2021 if that is what is set as the anniversary date, and then continue every year after that. Thanks!
