Creating a wide template

Is it possible to adapt a basic template in Constant Contact to be wider than 600px? Or are there any standing templates that are wider? I thought there would be since so many people seem to be using wider templates these days, but I didn't find anything.

Hello @JulieL34,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! We do offer a few wider templates for everyone to use. When you are in the spot to choose a template, you can search for the word "wide" and our templates that are 800px will be there. Thanks!

If you'd like to provide specific examples of widths you'd like to see, we'd recommend contributing to the discussion and voting for additional template options here in the Feedback boards.

Otherwise, you're also welcome to use the custom code editor for more control over your email's design, if you have HTML coding knowledge.

Zoe, when we discussed this question a few months ago and you replied that I should search for "wide" I did that , but didn't have an opportunity to experiment with it at that time. Today I tried again and found that the only templates that come up on the search for "wide" are postcard layouts. I wrote you about this beefore (my note is in this thread) but you didn't reply. Is there a basic drag&drop template with an 800px base? If so, can you give me the name of it, since it's not coming up in my search? Thanks.

Hello @JulieL34,

The postcard templates that appear when you search for "wide" will be the only campaigns with the 800px base. They are still the drag and drop templates and you can replace the default information with your own. You also do not have to use them as a postcard, that is just the title we chose for them. Thanks!

My reply didn't appear so trying again.

It would be really nice if there was a basic template at 800px with all the drag and drop options. The postcard one can be adapted for a newsletter but starting with more of a standard newsletter layout would be easier, and I could drag in the elements I need. Postcards are very specific type of layout
