Deleted contact that was suspended for bounces that we deleted registers for event with that deleted email, which is fine, but they don't get follow up emails for the event!!!

It seems that the event takes that email address, and it "may" send a confirmation email, but it doesn't send follow up emails with additional details.

We have this verified because it didn't send follow up emails to two deleted email accounts, that paid for their registration using Paypal.

Is this the way this is supposed to work?

How do we get the emails to automatically to go out through the system?

Thank you,

Katherine

Hello @MargaretG412 ,

Reading through what you described, the main issue seems to be their status as a suspended bounce. Regardless of them signing up for your event, if they're suspended they'll just keep getting bounced back when you send actual emails - even ones only tied to the event itself - to them.

If the contact wishes to continue using the bounced address, I'd recommend either calling in or replying directly to the Community's @ mention email, with the email address you need unsuspended so we can confidentially attempt an administrative unsuspension for it. If the contact is okay with their email address being different, you can edit their existing registration.
