Deleting Contacts

After deleting about 800 contacts that were unsubscribed or not engaging over the past couple years, I still see the same number of contacts as my total contacts. Why didn't that number go down? When I sort by Unsubscribed, it comes up empty so I know they were deleted.

Hello @chesterton,

 

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! Your active number of subscribers do not include your inactive contacts or your unsubscribes and we do not charge for those so your number will not go down by deleting those. You will want to delete your bounces or your least engaged in order to make that number go down. Thanks!
