Desktop vs. Mobile Boxes

Hi everyone! For some reason, any colored box behind text (like for headings or captions, etc.) is not showing up on desktop viewing but will look correct on mobile devices. For example, if I have a blue box with white text, it will appear blank on a desktop but will be correct on a mobile device. Does anyone have this issue or know how to address it?
