Do I need to remove dormant email addresses?

I have a number of email addresses on my newsletter list that have not opened in a while. I know how to find and remove them, but should I? The additional cost is negligible and I have seen long-dormant (over a year) readers return. Am I damaging my sender reputation by letting them remain?

Hello @bluepenguin ,

Sending to email addresses that aren't bouncing, but also aren't opening your emails shouldn't be affecting your sending reputation. However it's typically better for your engagement records, open rate, and account pricing to segment and remove contacts that are chronic non-openers.
