Donation Amounts in Custom Fields for an E-Mail


I have added a custom field for dollar amount donated for a specific campaign. When I insert "contact details" and specify this field in an e-mail the amount I have added to each contact (for a specific campaign) does not fill in to this field. I sent a test email to myself by creating a copy of the original email to see if the dollar amount will fill in. But it won't.  Why won't this work? What am I doing wrong?


Thank you for your help. I also "upgraded" our account this afternoon thinking that the reason this was not working is because it is considered a "dynamic feature."

I apologize that the custom fields are giving you trouble! I took a look at your account, and it appears that the custom field you have inserted into the email campaign is actually a different custom field than the one you have filled out for the contact (yourself) that you sent it to. 


If you take a look at the custom field that you have inserted into the email campaign, it does have a different name than the one you have filled out in your contact details for yourself. I have saved a copy of your email campaign inside of your account titled "Support", which has the correct custom field in it. If you try doing a live test with this email campaign, it should pull the information correctly.
