Downturn in e-newsletter open rate the week of March 2 because of coronavirus news prominence?

We noticed a significant downturn in our quarterly company e-newsletter open rate last week. We are, of course, looking at all of the usual suspects for the cause. But we are wondering if people are distracted from their normal routines of viewing emails because of the Covid-19 coronavirus scare and news prominence. Has anyone else noticed an unusual reduction in e-newsletter open rates during the past couple of weeks? Thanks!

Hello @TripH3,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! It is definitely possible people are not working so they are not reading their emails as frequently as they did before the virus. To make sure you are doing everything you can to get a higher open rate, please take a look at this helpful article with some tips. Thank you!
