We publish a monthly newsletter and send out email news releases fairly regularly to our email lists and when we hit around March this year, our open rates on all content dropped from 30-50% to 8-10%? This is super bizarre to me, as all the content is varied.. but concerning as to how I get it back? Is there something I'm missing?

There's a number of reasons that might cause your open rate to drop. There are some general best practices for improving / maintaining high open rates you could check into, to see if there's any further elements you can add to your emails.
With all that said it may also be connected to general, overall deliverability, which can be drastically improved with authentication, especially if you have your own domain for self-authentication. There's also some general best practices for improving deliverability.
Ultimately it may be best to reach out directly to our Deliverability team to see if they can offer any specialized insight regarding your decreasing open rates, or if they can pull any logs that might indicate if anything has changed significantly between the start of the year and now.
