Is there a way that I can edit the mobile version of the email? I am VERY frustrated with the way some images come up on the mobile view. I've made changes to the size and location of my logo in the email but it still shows up very large on the mobile view--which is obnoxious and takes up unnecessary space. Please advise.

Although the logo in your email was resized to appear smaller, it was uploaded at around 550px wide. This upload size causes it to display larger on a mobile device. Our templates are mobile responsive, and are designed to resize and display full width on a mobile device. To have your image display the way you would like it to, we suggest resizing it outside of our program to have a smaller width and re-uploaded into your account.
We ask for additional comments and votes be left on the open idea for having a separate mobile editing view. Our Product team regularly reviews our Feedback boards more than our Get Help area. Though we do not have a time estimate of if a feature like this will be available in the product, any updates will be posted there, not on this post. Voting and commenting on that post allows you to be notified of replies.
We're sorry for any frustrations with how your images are displaying on mobile devices and glad you reached out about it! While there's not a way to edit just the mobile version, you can first upload your logo image file at a smaller width (less than 600 pixels wide) so its original size is smaller to begin with. In addition, you can follow some best practices for making sure your email campaign does look great on mobile devices! It would be great to add the ability to edit the mobile version. is able to do this. The type on desktop vs. the type in mobile at the same pt size looks terrible and finding the "happy medium" weakens the design. Please please please add this feature. Thank you, Mimi O'G

I am frustrated with this as well. It seems it is such an easy feature to offer. Most people view their emails on their mobile device. I am paying monthly fees for a specialized service to help my business emails and campaigns appear clean and professional Yet the mobile view does not display images in the same proportion as they appear in the desktop view. I should not have to find a "hack" for a simple feature considering I am paying for the upgraded service. Perhaps this is a feature Constant Contact can look into updating.
I'm adding your account to the feature request for more easily editing the image sizes which are used for Mobile viewers. I'm sorry that this isn't something we currently have available. Thanks for the tip regarding white space on the side of the image to create a better mobile view. This worked for me too.
Image (and font) management in the mobile view is by far one of the most frustrating parts of Constant Contact. If I had a $ for every time I had to play with it to get it right...
Are you listening Constant Contact product managers? Mobile devices are really common these days in case you have not heard! Might want to make it easier for your long-suffering customers to manage images and fonts in the mobile view.

Before you send out your email, look at your email on a mobile device by clicking on preview to make sure it looks exactly how you want it. Also, is there a particular part on your template that is not showing correctly on a mobile device?

Thanks for adding your solution to this thread! The expected functionality is that the mobile version will default to the image size that is in the library, up to the full display width of the mobile device. This is why larger images will fill the width but smaller images will not. For images that are displaying large in the mobile view, you can make them smaller by using the Edit Image > Resize functionality and bringing the image down to a more manageable size in the Library. This will also result in a smaller image in the mobile view!
Thank you for explaining this Donna. We do not typically upload images to the Library. We normally link the image with a URL. I took the advice of another user who added 100 pixels around the image and it worked, but I would like to see this issue resolved in the near future.
Hello @CindyB06. Were you looking to make edits in the mobile view as well? What improvements would you like to see in this area? Any clarification would be helpful so we can forward your concerns to the correct team.
It is incredibly frustrating that this has not been resolved and time is wasted on having to reformat the logo or image.
It's a rough patch yes. Pixels the files, times out the browser, and fails 75% of the time. Why don't we have a mobile editor, in addition to the main?

Completely agree, it is very frustrating to not be able to edit mobile layout separately from desktop layout. This seems like such an obvious fix. Would love to see this feature in the near future.

While it is not currently a feature that is available, it is a request we're collecting feedback on. Why are you looking to edit the mobile view? Is there anything in particular in your emails? In the meantime, I have tracked your feedback on wanting this feature in your account and submitted it to our engineers.
Pretty sad that 6 months later and all we get as far as a response is we're collecting data and MAYBE will fix this in the future? What good does it do to be paying to use your service when it doesn't do the basic things we need it to do?
Logos are properly sized to work, shrunk down, and still display horribly oversized on Mobile devices........Come on Constant Contact. This is pathetic
