Say someone registers to attend and indicates that three people are going to attend. This registrant later calls and tells us only two are coming. Is it true that Constant Contact does not have a way to adjust this?
Thanks for reaching out to the Community. We understand a big part of running an event is managing your registrants. You are able to update registrant and guest information in your event. Here is a link from our Help Center that will show you how to edit the registrant and guest information.
Additionally if there are no fees associated with the event, you will also see the option to remove guests on the “Edit Registrant Details” screen.
Your response does not answer my question.
@DonF0 I am sorry if I was not clear in answering your event question. You would be able to change the number of people that a registrant is bringing if your event has no fee associated. You would be able to adjust that information through editing the registration details.
Mary, thanks. I see that I can reduce "3" to "2." But for almost all of my people -- under "Attendees" -- it shows "0", which I take to mean "1." Others registered where it says "1," which I take to mean "2" - and in that case I cannot find a way to remove 1 from 2.
I peeked into your account and did find an active event with 40 plus registrants. When you view your list of registrants, the number under the Attendees column does reflect how many guests the registrant has selected to bring. In your event you named guests "Attendees" in the settings section.
To remove any guest/attendees whether it be 1 or 2 you would click on the blue word "Details" and then click to "Edit Registrant Details". Once on that page you will see the information of the person who registered as well as any guests/attendees they said they would bring. You are able to remove one or both of the guest/attendees.
But you would not be able to remove the main registrant, only the guest/attendees. But you could remove the guest and edit the registrant details to reflect a new main attendee.
