You can plug the event's share URL into an online URL shortener if you need a smaller-looking URL to share with others. There are a number of shorteners available on the internet that can assist, which can be typically found by searching for "short URL" or similar terminology. These shortened URLs can differ in structure between whose shortener you use, but they will always be unique links that will redirect back to the original link that was plugged in.
