Editable Bullet Point Margins

I noticed while trying to format an email campaign to display properly in my inbox, that a lot of the spacing that was "perfect" in Constant Contact's design center, was suddenly skewed and out of whack.  I took a closer look and realized that it was because the bullet points and numbered lists were suddenly indenting twice as much as the Constant Contact display showed.

While having bullet point indentations or "margins" you can edit would be a great customizable setting, I know it would be a HUGE undertaking, and I'm not sure if the platform can handle it.  But I'm not a programmer or developer.

Is this issue occurring in other email programs or in the app versions, or is it occurring in a specific program? Is there anything in the email's settings that'd be resizing text or images automatically?
