Email Editor - how much worse could it be?

I have done dozens of emails on CC and always struggle with the editor - it is just clunky and horrible.

How do you add a horizontal line?  The editor insists on putting in a vertical divider.

Hello @Laretal ,

Here's how to insert a basic divider into your emails.

Sorry William but this just does not work.  I try to insert  a horizontal divider and the CC editor insists on trying to insert  vertical line.  It is hopeless.  Is  better?  It cannot be worse.

Hi @Laretal - Sorry you're still running into issues, did you get this to work? If you're trying to insert a horizontal divider and you keep seeing a vertical line, make sure that you are dragging in the Divider block that looks like this:

If you are getting a vertical line it sounds like potentially a two column text layout is being added instead, or it could just be some strangeness positioning the element when dragging it into the template.

If dragging it to the left or right of a block the pink line will look like it is going vertical, but if you position it above or below a full width block it should work. Let me know if you're still having trouble, if you have an email in your account where the vertical dividers are being added I'd be happy to take a look!
