My experience with the new editor has been disappointing.

The speed was unacceptably slow - at least a dozen times, I received a message that the page was unresponsive. Did I want to wait or try again later?  I am working on a deadline. Try again later?

Another message indicating my changes could not be saved. Wasted time again.

Images - every single image uploaded was sideways and needed to be edited. Another process that took far too long for this to be considered an "upgrade". This rarely happened previously and the edit function, when necessary, responded quickly.

I've used this program for years. Unless the shut down tonight from 9-11 does something miraculour, I plan to request that my company looks for another provider.

Hello @DougT2 ,

Regarding the slowness and the "couldn't be saved" error, is the issue occurring on other networks or browsers, or in Incognito/Private browsing? It sounds like you may be running into some connectivity issues when trying to access the site. Let’s start with some basic connectivity troubleshooting. Please keep in mind that when I say connectivity issues, I'm not necessarily referring to just your internet speed. There are a number of elements that can affect website connectivity and accessibility on an individual basis.

If none of those alleviate the issues, please call our general support number so they can continue troubleshooting with you live. If possible, please have a screenshot of your speed test, including the More Info section, ready for the phone agent.

Regarding the image upload, this is entirely dependent on the devices used to take the images, as some of them (particularly mobile devices and especially iOS devices) will save the metadata of the image to be sideways. Fortunately this can be quickly and easily rectified using the image editor. Unfortunately, this is an issue that has been pervasive across multiple platforms for decades, and is something that can only be truly resolved by the devices' developers.
