I have noticed on our last 2 campaigns, our email open rates and click rates have dramatically decreased. Has there been any change on the Constant Contact side? We haven't changed anything on our end. Any ideas of what may be contributing to this?
Thanks for reaching out to the Community! Often times security programs will open and click the links in emails to ensure they are safe. In the past we did not have a way to exclude these security opens/ clicks, which lead to inflated numbers. We have recently made an update to the way we are tracking opens and clicks, so while the numbers may be a bit lower, the numbers are more accurate.
Interesting - how long were security programs opening and clicking links? Do you have any data on when there was more of an uptick in this trend before the Constant Contact update?
