I recently started using Constant Contact. This a.m., I get up and my email account is locked out. I call tech support for Sparklight, my provider. They say my email account has been flagged for spam (specifically they say I have a virus on my computer). They tell me I have to scan my "devices" for viruses and report back to them on my findings. The only thing that has changed is my use of this service (CC). If I get flagged again, I have to take my devices to "the shop". If it happens a 3rd time, my account gets TERMINATED. Thoughts? Is it Constant Contact getting me locked down, or something else? My provider said they have "no idea" which event activated the lock out. They weren't any help, other than my email is now working (however termporarily it may be. Thanks!
Hi @GeoE9 we're not seeing anything unusual with your Constant Contact account. From the information you have provided us, it sounds like you may want to continue working with your email provider. When you're using our service, the emails you send out do not come from your email address, they come from our servers.
