Hello @StanleyS958 ,
You can, in fact, add emojis to your email header (what shows up in people's regular inbox view). Additionally you may want to check our articles on subject line personalization, as well as subject line optimization and emoji best practices.
I"m getting an error message that emojis are not allowed in the subject line of my e-newsletter. I read that they are allowed in emails. Anyone know how to get them in there?
Hello @JudithC20570,
Can you please reply back with a screenshot of the error so I can take a closer look? Thanks!
I am also getting an error when pasting emojis into the subject line. These Help articles have instructions for multiple ways to add emojis and none of them work. There is no "smiley face icon in the subject line" or any other way to insert emojis directly from the header options menu. Alternatively, an older Help article says to go to Emojipedia and copy and paste from there but that just results in an error message when you try to save that says "Constant Contact does not support illegal characters." Please advise on how to make this work. Thank you!
Emoji can be added to the subject line of any email created in the Third-Generation Editor by clicking in the header and then clicking the smiley face on the right side of the subject line. We provide a variety of options to choose from.
