Event email - view as web page does not retain contact first name field

Hi. For my event email, I ran a test and included myself and one other colleague in the email. I have the option to view the email as a web page included.

The first name displays in the email version, but when we click the link to view the email as a web page, it does not show the first name. All I see is the salutation of "Dear       ". Is there a setting I need to set to keep the placeholder name in the web version? Thanks,

Hi @FranG52324 ,

Great question! If you edit the block of your event invite that contains the greeting, it should show something like Dear (First Name) surrounded by a dotted line. If you double click into that greeting section it should bring up an overlay to edit the dynamic greeting. Make sure there is a Secondary greeting set up (usually it's something like "Hello!" or "Greetings!").  The secondary greeting will be used for the webpage version, or any contacts you have stored without a first name.
