Out of our 14 New Subscribers we were notified about on April 20, only 3 were legitimate emails. This problem is getting worse and I'm having to remove them manually as we go. How do we avoid this?
Hello @MichelleM18 ,
Are you using forms you created through us, ones through an integration, or forms that you constructed yourself? If you're using forms you constructed yourself, I'd suggest asking in our API Developer boards what their best advice is for setting up reCaptcha or a similar program.
If it's a form built through an integration that we explicitly developed, I'd suggest calling in so our higher level technical team can troubleshoot and provide some insight.
If it's a regular pop-up, inline, or landing page form created through us, can you please respond to the @ mention email with the name of the form, how the long the issue has been occurring, examples of bad contacts, etc.
We appreciate the reply! What is or where is the "@ mention email" so that I can send a link to somebody that can look at our form and offer some suggestions? Our form can be seen in the lower right of our website at Thanks!
You would've received an email from our system when I tagged you in a comment. It'd have the subject line to the effect of "William_D mentioned you..." If your account email address wouldn't allow its delivery, then I'd suggest calling in so they can assist you live.
I called in and discussed this but it doesn't sound like there's any simple fix. We'll continue removing them manually. It does not appear to be a way to block a certain domain from auto subscribing so this is a bummer. Thanks.
