Hi,
I just noticed that no campaigns is getting delivered at Gmail ids, to be double sure i created separate folder of all gmail ids and sent 3-4 campaigns, to my surprise open ratio is almost zero%. Can anybody suggest me if anything can be done to improve the open ratio with Gmail contacts, i guess all the campaigns are landing in spam folder so nobody is opening them. Please advise suggestions/view.
Regards
Hemant
Hi @DolW
Thank you for reaching out about your campaign! I can understand the importance of your emails successfully being delivered to your contacts, and apologize this is not the case. Although you have already spoken to our Deliverability Specialists directly, I would also like to share a few pointers here in the Community. After taking a look at one of your most recent campaigns, one thing that stood out is your subject line. Shortening your subject lines to be no more than 4-7 words or 40 characters is a best practice for writing a subject line that ensures the deliverability of your email. Not only this, but your email is mostly images with very few lines of text. It's always important to have a good balance of images, text, and links. Here's more information on what you can do to help the deliverability of your emails and information on how we help as well.
Hi There,
we tried everything written on your website, did what your tech guy asked us to do, took various suggestions from many people, implemented all one by one but campaigns to Gmail ids are just not going or they are going in spam so open ratio is always less than 1 %. You must have some solution at your end, small business can not get into so much technical details as we dont have in-house technical detartment, all we need is better open ratio and if market leader like constant contact is unable to solve this problem than i dont see good idea of E mail marketing, may be its coming to an end and we need to look for alternate methods.
Thanks

Hi @DolW
Thank you for reaching back out. In addition to what Frankie mentioned in our previous post, you might also consider that some Gmail addresses may be filtering into Promotions as opposed to spam. You may tend to see opens from this folder at a later time. Please feel free to reach out if you have other questions. Thank you for using Constant Contact. Have a great day!
