I just recently transferred my domain to CC, and for some reason, my email address was not transferred, from my other domain host. It was a GSuite email address, and when they switched to Google Workspace, I have not been able to receive emails. I contacted Google Workspace, who in turn, told me to contact my previous domain host, (whom I will not mention because they have been so unhelpful!)
Any suggestions would be great. Thank you in advance.
Shawn
Hello @shawnw028 ,
According to our Website Builder support team, the DNS is not set up for your domain to be connected to Google. They suggest getting these setup from your end, and provided this article from Google as a guide.
When a domain is transferred to a new host, the domain's name servers are reset. In that reset the DNS values are reset to whatever that new DNS location defaults to. In this case, we don't have default records for MX, so it defaulted to nothing.
If you'd like additional guidance, or would live some live 1:1 assistance while setting up these records, you can reach out to our Website Builder support directly through these channels.
Hi everyone,
I've struggled to connect my Google Workplace to my Constant Contact account. I couldn't move forward in getting the DNS records; Self-authenticate didn't work and I got stuck there. I kept asking for help but no one answered. Could anyone help me, please?
Hello @NathalieM75 ,
