I want to permanently delete unsubscribed user PERMANENTLY. Not jus their email address, but all of them - gone - from the system. Also, same question as it pertains to user who haven't opened emails in at last one year.
Hello @JulieC2140. While unsubscribed contacts do not appear on your lists or count towards your active contacts, you can still delete them from your account (I recommend exporting the unsubscribes first just to keep for your own records). After opening your Unsubcribed contacts, you will want to select all the unsubscribed contacts, click on More Actions and click Delete. It will then ask you to confirm that you want to delete these contacts from your account.
At this time, we do not have a feature to delete contacts who haven't opened a campaign for a period of time. It is feedback that we are tracking and I will certainly put in feedback for you. However, you are able to create a list of these contacts and we have created a walkthrough on how to do this here.
Do I have to manually click each unsubscribed email to delete it - I don't see a Select All?
Hi @AmyS4404,
Good question. There is an icon to select all, but it does not specifically have a label. See the image below. The arrow will point to the empty check-off box that will select all. This box will always appear on the left of Name.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns! Thanks for posting in the Community!
2 questions:
1. Do unsubscribed contacts count toward your contact total for billing?
2. If I permanently delete unsubscribed contacts and they are included in a new uploaded list, will they remain blocked from receiving messages?
