Hello,
Files, such as PDF's, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, can't be added as attachments to your campaign email, but they can be hosted through the library and then linked. See our Knowledge Base article for the different document linking options.
Thanks,

Its not possible.
Hi Michelle, We don't have the ability to add attachments, but if you have Archive, you can always put the link to your archived emails in your email you send to your contacts. Then they can use that link to forward on to their customers. I hope that helps! Marissa W. Community & Social Media Support Representative
Hi Cary, The best way to do this is to use our Custom Fields. You would want to host each PDF on a free PDF hosting site like google documents or www.mediafire.com. Then you can use the URL in the Custom Fields section. Custom Fields only support 50 characters, so if the URL is longer then that, you will want to use a site like www.tinyurl.com to shorten the URL. Here is an FAQ on how to set that up. Just copy and paste this URL into your browser. This will take you to FAQ 2069: Add Your Contacts' Details to an Email. I hope that helps, Marissa W. Community & Social Media Support Representative
Can a powerpoint presentation be sent through constant contact?
You can't build Power Point presentations in to Constant Contact, I believe you could send it as an attachment however. Their are two other options: 1) put an image of the cover linking to your powerpoint presentation on a website, or 2) use one of Constant Contact's affiliates/partners GoldMail. You would have to recreate your presentation within the GoldMail system, but this would allow it to be played within your email campaign. I have used GoldMail several times, it allows a slide show presentation along with voice overs. Great system! You can try it free.

You can also convert your PowerPoint into video and post it in your email, either through the "Video Link"or through YouTube account.
hate to sound stupid, but where is video link?
Hi Gail,
That's not a stupid question! The Video Link is is on the left while you edit your block:
I hope that helps
I haven't been able to figure out how to attach a file, when sending out a constant contact email, please help
Hi Jeff,
Due to viruses, you cannot send out a Constant Contact email with an attachment.
If you have a PDF, you can upload it to Constant Contact and then link to it in your email. For assistance with this, please check out this FAQ: Insert a Document in Your Email
For other documents, you can use a file hosting site such as Mediafire.
I hope this helps,
I would like to make it easy for my readers to get a PDF copy of my emails. Currently I have to send them a second email from Outlook with the PDF attached... a real waste of time and eliminates a key benefit of Constant Contact. Seems like it would be easy to create a feature so recipients of the emails could easily click on "save to PDF" or "download a PDF of this email".
I've looked for something like this in Constant Contact but cant find it. Am I missing it somewhere?
Hello Kelly,
You can certainly download your email as a PDF! Follow this FAQ, Download or Print your email as a PDF
thanks - I will try that
Billssv,
Thank you for your post.
Attachments to emails sent through a bulk emailer like Constant Contact can actually prevent your messages from being delivered. Therefore, we do not allow them in any email yo usend through Constant Contact.
Instead, you can upload the file (Word document, Excel Spreadsheet, or PDF document) to your MyLibrary or MyLibraryPlus and then use the "Insert Document Link" feature to build a link to it within your email. This way, when your contacts click on the link, it will open the actual file for them.
Visit https://knowledgebase.constantcontact.com/articles/KnowledgeBase/5644-insert-a-document-into-a-campa... to learn how to utilize the "Insert Document Link" feature.

Hello @APLDOR ,
While you can choose to send a PDF file to a Compressed (zipped) Folder, that folder would not be a file type that you can upload to your account. I would recommend either trying to resize the PDF File, split the presentation into multiple files to be within our limit or host the file on a different site that allows you to upload larger files. If the original file is a PowerPoint file type, you can upload that to your account. When you add the link to that file it will open in PowerPoint if that is installed on your contact's computer. (Please note: The file will also be editable if uploaded as this file type. )
