Thanks for your help.
Hello @SusanF603. Thanks for reaching out to us in the Community! Adjusting the padding for a block is possible with our second-generation editor, which I see you are using to create your emails. You can adjust the padding in a block by clicking on the HTML button which will bring up the Code View. From here, you will want to set the padding as shown in the screenshot below (the rest of the code may look different but you will want what is highlighted in red):
Since this does involve some HTML knowledge, if you are not completely familiar with it, I would suggest having someone who is familiar with HTML do this for you. Also, our Support team would be happy to assist you as well. You can either reach out to us here or if you wanted to call in, here is a link to our Support team's numbers and hours of operation.
I usually use but am using Constant Contact for a specific client. I think it's ridiculous that we cannot change the padding or decrease the margins in order to change a text box's width. And to not be able to tweak the html code is extremely disappointing.
Hello @DanielleF572 ,
If you'd like more control over your email's construction and design, including full access to HTML editing, I'd suggest using the custom code editor we have available for all customers.
