How do I get people out of Awaiting Confirmation?

I have several contacts who've been "trapped" in the Awaiting Confirmation status for quite a long time. For some, I'd sent a resubscribe message, and they took the needed action on that message...and now they're in Awaiting Confirmation - forever? I want to know what's needed to get them out of that status and back into our active contacts again. I find it strange that those to whom I've spoken all say the same thing; they received the resubscribe message, they resubscribed, and then nothing. Help please!

Hi @WhitneyG87 ,

I certainly apologize that you are having this issue. If they are clicking Resubscribe, there should be no reason that they remain in the Awaiting Confirmation status.

Sometimes, our support team can reset those contacts in that status for you, and make it possible to send them an additional resubscribe request. I recommend calling our general support number for further assistance with this.
