How do i change the unsubscribed email address.
Hello @GregS780 ,
Can you elaborate at all on what you mean? Is there a reason you wish to edit an email address that's been unsubscribed from you? Since email addresses are unique, their unsubscriptions are hard-coded for Compliance and legal reasons.
Hi, I have the same question - I'd like to change the unsubscribe email address to be the same as the "sent by" email address.
Can you provide us with some more information about what you are trying to change?
I believe I am in a same situation. On the bottom of the email, where the footer is, there is a clickable button where it says "unsubscribe from email@example.com" However, I wish this "firstname.lastname@example.org" to be the same as sent by email address. For example, I wish that email@example.com to be firstname.lastname@example.org if it is sent by email@example.com
Thank you so much for your help.
If you edit the From and Reply to email addresses at the top of your screen, it will reflect at the bottom as well. Thanks!
I understand what you are trying to do, I was in the same situation. It has nothing to do with the FROM & REPLY, it has to with you user email, and you can edit that in "My Account" and you'll see a box that has User Name and User Email, and a blue edit button on the lower right. That will change the email you see on the footnote where it says "Unsubscribe". One more thing through trial and error, a coworker and I figured out that the user email that appears on the footnote only appears in TEST emails. When you schedule it to send and people receive it they see their own email, EXAMPLE: Unsubscribe firstname.lastname@example.org. I hope that helped.
I unsubscribed an email and now they want to be active and receive the newsletter
If a contact has been marked as unsubscribed from you, you'll need to go through the resubscription process. However the easiest method for a contact to resubscribe to you would be for them to go through one of your sign up forms.
If they’re unable to get signed back up through a sign up form or through the resub email, you can request our Review team do a manual override of the unsubscription. You’ll need to get an email directly from the contact explicitly stating they want to be resubscribed. Then you’ll need to call into the Review team, and follow their processes from there.
Since there are a number of legal and Compliance-related elements to unsubscribing and resubscribing, we have to make sure one of these three processes is followed.
