How to add an Email Link

Insert email link.pngWhen your contacts click on an email link within your email, their email client will open up a new email with your address in the “To” field.  You can also customize the subject line and content of the email!

 

When this is helpful

-If you want to make an image clickable to your email address.

-When you want content of a specific topic to go to a specific person.

-You want a simple RSVP or a specific piece of information.

-If you want a specific subject line or piece of content in the body of the email

 

How to insert an Email Link

  1. Hover your mouse over the block where you would to add the link, click the edit icon.
  2. Place your cursor where you want to insert a new link or highlight the text that you want to turn into a link.
  3. Click the “Insert Link” button.
  4. On the overlay, click “Type of Link”>Email (Mail to an email address)
  5. If you didn’t highlight text, type in the “Text to display as link” field.
  6. Customize the formatting of the link using the style buttons on the right of the overlay.
  7. In the “Email Address” field, type the email address you would like to use.
  8. Click “Insert” and then save the block you are working on.

 

Remember to preview the email to test out the link.

 

Do you want to set the subject line or some of the content?

  1. After inserting the text and email address click the “More Options” link.
  2. Enter up to 150 characters for the subject and 150 characters in the body.

Note: HTML is not accepted in this box.

  1. Click “Insert” and test it out!
