How to keep contact lists separate?

I have two contacts lists.
One (about 500 contacts) was used a month ago to send one message.

The other list is bout 300 contacts. I want to send ate same message to these 300 contacts, but NOT to the previous 500, because they have already received the message.

The "system" keeps merging the two lists and tells me to remove the undesired contacts, that is 500 to do one by one and they are not listed in order.

There must be uneasy way, but I cannot figure it except deleting ALL my contacts, then loading anew the 300.

Thanks a million.

Hi @Francois-MarieP

Thank you for reaching out to the Constant Contact Community. It's my pleasure to assist you today.

That's a great question. If you would like to send an email to a brand new list, you will want to copy the email and schedule it to the new list. Please feel free to reach out if you have further questions. Thank you for choosing Constant Contact. Have a good day!
