Hi Linda. Typically, the best way to reduce the file size for an image that is too large is to reduce the display size. Most of our email templates have a width of 600 pixels, so an image that is much higher than that is just using up space. Most image editing programs will have an option for resizing the image.
If you don't have an image editor like Photoshop, you can use the built-in image editor on your computer. In Windows machines, this can be done through Paint. On a Mac, you can use iPhoto. Depending on the size of the image, you may be able to use an online image editor like PicMonkey or Pixlr. You can even resize your image through our editing tools once it has been added to your Library.
