Images not showing up

I've tried sending a test email of an eblast today, and am having a major problems getting the images to show up in my Apple Mail client. Just to note that I've sent myself test emails to the same email client many times in the past and have not had problems seeing the images. Also, I've checked, and I do have "Load remote content" switched on, and other e-blasts from other companies are coming through with their images just fine. Even weirder, my previous Constant Contact test eblasts, that showed up fine at the time (ie. a month ago, for example), are now also not showing their images either. In my particular mail client I'm not even given the option to turn them on, so am very reluctant to send the email out to my mailing list at this point in time.

Any suggestions as to what might be happening would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Hi !

Thanks for reaching out to the Community! This a known issue with Mac Mail/ Apple Mail not displaying images. I have tracked this on your behalf, and we will send you an email once the issue has been resolved.

Here is our current workaround:

For each image that is not showing:

  • Click to open the image as if you were going to change it
  • Right click on the image (command+click)
  • Copy image location
  • Go to the Image URL tab
  • Paste the URL
  • Remove the "s" from the https, leaving the image as http
  • Preview the image and insert it.
  • Repeat for all images
  • Test to the Mail Client
  • Video of this work around is here:
