Importing updated contacts from DonorPerfect without losing new subscribers through Constant Contact

First question: In the past we imported our contacts from Donor Perfect into Constant Contact. If I update my contacts in Donor Perfect, how do I make sure these updates are made into Constant Contact, without losing the additional contacts I obtained through Constant Contact email subscriptions?

Second question: How often do I need update or import contacts between the two databases? Or is this done regularly by the two databases? How often?

Most integrations in general should  work as a one-way street into your CTCT account, so you needn't worry about them removing your contacts, only adding new ones / updating existing ones' details. You may be able to find a 3rd party integration with DonorPerfect elsewhere online, otherwise you may just need to export your contacts manually from your database there, then upload as a regular file.
