This is more of a complaint than an idea. While I have great appreciation for the Constant Contact product, I am growing very frustrated with the maintenance of my Constant Contact "Contacts" list. For my business purposes it is not cost effective for me to pay for a larger (501-2500) Contact list. I NEVER mail out a newsletter without confirming that my Contact list is below 500.
However on several occasions I have been billed at the higher level. Support personnel have been good enough to confirm my list numbers and credit my account on such occasions, but it is still a hassle.
After multiple calls to Support I am learning that apparently your contact list server is not reliable and I cannot depend upon it updating my Contact list upon the addition/deletion of addresses. One support agent on a previous call told me I need to call each time and have them reset my list manually.
However in an online Chat I just asked with "Vanessa" to do so. She initially told me it wasn't necessary.
Upon further questioning, However, she revise her answer and told me I needed to manually check back for at least 24 hours to confirm my list was reset automatically... and if not, THEN contact Support again.
As much as I like the product, this list maintenance issue is getting very frustrating. I would appreciate greater reliability of the Contact List server. Thank you
