Last name required

I don't want to make the last name a requirement for signing up for my newsletter. How can I remove the "requirement"?

You can toggle off required settings for different contact fields when editing the form. For instructions on creating/editing the different form types:

• inline forms
• pop-up forms
• banner forms
• flyout forms
• lead generation landing pages

Hi William, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I can NOT eliminate the requirement for email address, first name and last name when setting up an event. They seem to be locked. I really don't want to require a last name. Can you fix that from your end?

The current event tool requires an email address, first name, and last name for primary registrants. These fields cannot be toggled off on our end or within the UI.
