Re: Like and comments section for Blog Posts

Hi,

I have recently created a personal blogs website. I have added many posts/articles on the blog page and launched the website.

But after I launched and shared the site, I am expecting people reading the posts should be able to hit like or add comments to the post.

I was trying to find the buttons/sections which I can add to all my blogs/posts but I didn't find any provision.

Can you please guide me there.

Congratulations on the launch of your website and blog, very exciting! As of right now, our blogging tool does not offer the functionality for blogging comments or likes. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This blogging tool is one of our newest additions to our platform, and we're very excited for the updates we'll be making to it as we continue to learn into what our users are looking for in a blogging tool. This feedback is great, and we're actually hard at work at implementing these very features into our blogging tool as soon as possible.

Was there ever an update on the addition of likes/comments through the use of a blog? The last post stated "we're actually hard at work at implementing these very features into our blogging tool as soon as possible," so I was wondering when that was. Thanks so much!

At this time we don't have an update to this feature request. It's still a feature the Web Builder devs are interested in implementing, but at the moment it's still being scoped out.

Hello,

This community forum is basically the same concept as "likes" and "comments" on a blog post. Is a community forum like this one an option on the website builder? Or, now that it's October 2020, have you added a way to add "comments" and "likes" to blogs via the website builder?

Something similar to our Community forum unfortunately is not an option on our Website Builder at the moment and as of right now, our blogging tool does not offer the functionality for blogging comments or likes yet. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This blogging tool is still very new and we are continuing to make updates on it. Thank you for your feedback!

It's very disheartening since two years ago such section has not been added or perhaps you don't intend to put it, we have an extremely low number of sections etc to this platform,I have to sort out codes for the things that should be already there for us. If I would rate you guys, with this kind of thing persisting, it would be 1.5, other sites can do better
