List purpose

List purpose

If I have people sign up for emails from my business list (web design & social media consulting), can I email them for other purposes like a non-profit I'm involved with or a political group I belong to? I'm not talking about selling the list or sharing names with another company, but sending emails about other organizations in which I participate to my list.

Hi @CarolS176

That's a great question! Though there is no limit to the amount of emails you can send from an account, it's important to point out we have a strict opt-in policy. Because of this I would recommend receiving permission from your contacts to receive information about these new topics. A good way to do this is through inserting a poll block into one of your email campaigns to collect their feedback on this. You can also customize the update profile form to include new contact lists for these topics. Doing this will allow you to make sure only contacts who are interested receive these new emails.
