Hey community, it looks like Office 365 Safelinks is flagging Constant Contact Blast Links as Malicious as shown in the picture, I was hoping we could come together and get Microsoft or Constant Contact to get Microsoft to remove Constant Contact from the global domain blocklist, supposedly per a Microsoft rep "as long as constant contact supplies Microsoft with the information they request it should be removed pretty quickly."
Safelinks Block
Hey @MikeF4652,
Welcome back to the Community! Thank you for reaching out to us! We will look into what happened with the email notification regarding the issue being resolved. Are you still experiencing these issues? If so, please send us an email with more information at Social_Support(at)constantcontact(dot)com.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
CC needs to provide their ticket number they have with Microsoft so I can attach my ticket to it. Microsoft is saying it's ATP (Advanced Threat Protection) settings to me, which CC emails should not be triggering ATP. I can make guesses as to what's going on, but I'll leave the speculation out.
Thanks - we're having to send emails out with no links. We add the instructions to RSVP please copy this URL into your browser.
Thank you for reaching out to the Constant Contact Community. I hope your weekend is going well!
I'm sorry you are running into the issue with malicious links in Office 365. We are aware of the issue and have reached out to Microsoft for more information on what we should do to correct it. It sounds like you have already reported the issue to Microsoft but we have found that doing this expedites the process of getting everything fixed. If you haven't reported the issue, you can do so here. I will also request that our team reach out to you when the issue is resolved. In the meantime, if there is anything else we can do for you please let us know.
Thank you for choosing Constant Contact. Have a great weekend.
We're having the same problem. We have cancelled emails this week, in fear of a client clicking a link that Office says is malicious. I spoke with your support on Monday and was given no timeline for when this will be fixed.
This is completely unacceptable! Please fix ASAP.
We are actively looking for a Constant Contact replacement.
The way Constant Contact has handled this is unacceptable. We sent out our most important survey of the year even though CC already knew about the issue at least two days prior and didn't let their customers know. And still no resolution.
We'll be looking at alternatives to Constant Contact.
We are experiencing this issue, as well. I will reach out to Microsoft to let them know. Please keep me up to date on any information or actions to take regarding resolving this issue.
Kind regards,
Leslie
I was not able to successfully report this issue to Microsoft. The link you provided required a specific URL. The interface would not accept the one I provided. The interface also wanted a .CAB file uploaded which I could not provide.
Please advise ASAP what we need to do to resolve this issue.
We are also still having this issue. It seemed to be resolved this morning, but then started up again this afternoon.
Just an FYI for anyone at Constant Contact: we get email from Beckers Hospital Review. None of the embedded links work because O365 says it's a malicious site (r20.rs6.net). Allowing that url in 365 didn't fix it because it's a re-direct to Constant Contact, not a link directly to the web site. So any of your customers who use O365 aren't going to be happy about that.
Hey @JoeC625,
Welcome to the Community! Thank you for reaching out to us. We are currently working to get this issue resolved and we apologize for the inconvenience! You will be notified when the issue has been resolved.
We appreciate your patience. If there is anything else we can do for you please let us know!
We are also having problems with this -- we have members who cannot register for our events because they are being blocked. Please add us to the list to let us know when this is resolved.
We have been having this same issue for years. It looks like it's never been fixed. Please advise.
We have had this issue since 2018, on and off but now its back. Our subscribers cannot visit the events they are scheduled to attend online! Also most of people using constant contact are not software engineers nor have the ability to understand how to even report this issue! This falls on the provider CC and they have to do something soon. We have created an account with another provider and it seems to work well! so if this continues we will be cancelling our CC account. I recommend for others to do the same, there are many other providers out there which function very well. We are using CC for another month or so otherwise will cancel.
