I've never had this happen before but when I check & preview my email, many of my pictures are missing, as well as one text & photo section completely. Same when I send a test email. Most of my photos are gone! What's up with that?
I wasn't able to recreate the issue you're describing, which would indicate it's likely a caching error or similar connectivity (not necessarily related to your internet speed) issue occurring. Please perform some connectivity troubleshooting to see if that alleviates your issue.
