Multiple Lists or Tags?

Hi, newbie here. I have a large master email list that has three groups: business and industry, healthcare, and agency partners. Each group has a program manager and I'd like for them to be able to access their contact group directly.

I send the monthly newsletter to all the contacts. We also do targeted email marketing to the different groups. Would it be better to set up separate email lists for each group, or to set up one group and tag the contacts by group?

Thanks,

Gina

Re: Multiple Lists or Tags?

Hello @GinaE136. Great question! If the program manager was looking to mail and manage each group separately, the best approach would be to upload each group as a list. This way, the manager can manage their own list without worrying about accidentally interfering with contacts who might belong to another list. They can upload new contacts to the list or remove them if needed.
